Healing Ourselves, Healing the Land
This project has centred the vision of cultivating reciprocal relationships between Afro-Indigenous Community through land-based learning in K-12 settings. Together with PAPAKEN HAUTW, we will facilitate opportunities for Black and POC youth to engage in land restoration with WSANEC youth. This is a true way of ensuring a diverse and inclusive land stewardship model exists as we work towards the universally shared goal of planetary health.
Flying Squad
We are launching a Vancouver Island based flying squad that centres the experiences of African Descent youth with an emphasis on intercultural and diverse community building.
